Well got my chance to visit a apple “reseller” store here in Bangkok Thailand and had a chance to get a look at the new iPod at close up.

Well as a designer I will just talk about the design. The first look from distance was, “hey what’s that shiny stuff on an apple store?” and I got close to it and saw disaster.

I’m not sure whether you like it or not but from my opinion the nano was a disappointment with the design. It was too glossy and had a bad look. Almost looked likethe ones from China. I’m not sure what is happening with apple their design standard is not keeping up to their coolness. If you remember the snow leopard box. I was not expecting a cheap leopard on the box. And now we have the nano with the so called cool gloss. It makes it look unreal to the eyes. I preferred the look of the old one.

And the technical stuffs I’m not sure but isn’t that the best kn the iPod shuffling and browsing through thousands of song so easily.
